Dear Independence Charter Academy Students and Families,
Thank you all so much for working hard this past semester, and thank you to all our parents who also worked hard in assisting our students with work and meeting deadlines. As we conclude 2021, and break for the winter holiday, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all who help make Independence Charter Academy an amazing place to be. We are a learning community with many gifts and talents, which we share daily with one another and most importantly, our students. From the classroom to our living room and all points in-between, our collective efforts to raise the whole child are filled with passion, commitment, and a willingness to make decisions that may be hard in the present, but will have a positive and lasting influence on the future for all. Parents, of course, are such a critical part of all we hope to accomplish on behalf of our Independence Charter Academy students. I am grateful to you for masterfully doing what I know firsthand is the hardest, most rewarding, and joyous job of all. Thank you for entrusting us with your most precious gift, your child! I am grateful to our wonderful, talented, creative, inquisitive, optimistic, resourceful, and resilient students. Often, they make us laugh, sometimes they make us cry, but always they make us think. Most of all, they make us better.

Tech Helpline number is 760-221-7144. The hours of operation are Monday to Friday 7:30 am-3:00 pm. We will not be taking calls from December 17th- January 3rd for winter break. Our two big fundraisers are going on now.
We are nearing the end of this semester, most of you are on track to complete your classes by the end of this semester on December 17, 2021, but some will need to put in extra time to complete their courses.
Remember, all classes need to be 100% completed to be eligible to receive credit. Not doing so will result in ‘F’ grades and zero credit earned. That will make 2nd semester doubly difficult to complete sufficient credits to stay on track to graduate.
This is especially important for the class of 2022 who plan to graduate in May of 2022. Earning zero credits for the 1st semester will force them to earn a year’s worth of credits in only ½ year.
