Dear Independence Charter Academy Students and Families,
The school year is moving along very quickly, before you know it we will be on Summer Break. Report Cards for the Third Quarter will come out on Friday, March 11, 2022. Please let your children know that we want them to complete one lesson in every class every day; this ensures they to complete the semester. We also have tutoring links open all day long from 7:30-2:30 in all subjects if your child needs some assistance in any subject. Students in grades 6-12 should be 40% completed with all their classes in every subject, feel free to reach out to the Homeroom teachers or myself if you have any questions.

Your ICA Staff is working hard to put together a yearbook for the 2021-2022 school year. Please send in a headshot (shoulders and up) along with your first and last name and grade level to be included in the yearbook. I am confident that when your child entered into ICA’s self-paced instruction, you did not realize how intricately involved your child’s education was on a regular basis.
I will be evaluating each student’s progress and will likely be contacting the student and the parent if the student is not keeping pace!
It is really easy for parents to monitor their child’s progress:
Simply log on to your child’s Edmentum account; if you do not know how, ask your child or contact your child’s teacher.
As you can easily see, this shows courses which are:
Ahead of Pace indicated by a green bar plus a green man running forward.
Off Pace indicated by a red bar plus a red man running backward.
Slightly off pace indicated by an orange bar plus a man standing still.
