Dear Independence Charter Academy Students and Families,
The first part of the 2021-2022 year has gone by quickly, and it has been an exciting time. Our campus has completed our first quarter and is well into our second.
We are thankful for the many things as we reflect. Please let us share just a few of them with you:
We are pleased with our students who attend ICA every day ready to learn. They provide us all a daily reminder of why we are here and what is essential.
We are grateful for the support of our parents in building an excellent learning community for our students. We are also thankful that our parents have kept their trust and confidence in us. We are thankful parents who work hard and advocate to be a partner in their children’s education, safety, and well-being. For this, we will always be so thankful.
We are grateful for the teachers, support staff, interns, counselors, and administrators who care about student success and have the best interests of our students in essence. We see dedicated and hard-working individuals going above and beyond to make sure that great things happen in our school. They do make a difference, and our students benefit from those efforts.
I would like to wish all of you and your families a healthy, relaxing, and Happy Thanksgiving!
Sincerely,
Dr. Esposito

At ICA, our 1st quarter ends on October 8, 2021. That means students are ¼ done with the 2021-22 school year. Each class should be 25% completed if you are an elementary student and 50% completed if you are a high school or junior high student.
Parents, did you know you can check on your child’s progress via Edmentum? Edmentum is the curriculum program we use for our students’ learning while at ICA. If you are uncertain about exactly how to do this, you may log on to your child’s Edmentum account to monitor. If this is still uncertain, contact your child’s teacher to learn how to gain access.
