ICA announces a partnership with the Los Angeles Clippers Reading and STEAM contest. From October 1-November 15, the students at ICA will compete by logging their reading times with their teachers against schools from all over Southern California. The students will also compete in a STEAM contest in which classes can work together regarding any Basketball project that incorporates any aspect of Basketball in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, or Mathematics. Winner will receive a $2,000.00 Grant for their school.
Our ROTC club has been invited to present the colors at an Ontario Reign Hockey game in January or February, more to come on this.
William Hardy (12) and Leila Esquivel (11) have been nominated for the 2020 United States Senate Youth Program. If selected by the CDE, they will receive a trip to Washington, DC in March to shadow the US Senators for one week. Winners will also be awarded a $10,000.00 scholarship from the Hearst Foundation.
