Summer Update: 2020/2021 School Year

Dear ICA Seniors and Parents,

I hope your families are safe and things are going well for you right now. Just wanted to wish you all a Happy Memorial Day weekend! On Memorial Day, let us honor those who gave their lives for our country. My warmest wishes on Memorial Day and deepest gratitude for the ultimate sacrifice of our fallen heroes. Memorial Day is a time to honor, reflect, and remember those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.

Important Items to stay up on:

• ICA WILL BEGIN SCHOOL on AUGUST 11, 2020 just like any other school year. Since we are online we will just begin as usual like any other year.
• We will automatically re-enroll your child in school for next school year (2020-2021) unless you contact us and tell us differently.
• Your child can keep their Chromebook for the summer and continue to work on Learning Path (ONLY IF THEY WANT TO). In July, the system will reset for next school year so beginning in August students can begin AFTER they sign their Master Agreement.
• This should be a smooth transition. If your student chooses to attend another school you will need to bring or send the Chromebook back to us before we release any records.
• Next years 9-12 graders CAN take college classes right here at ICA, please go to vvc.edu and apply (it’s free to apply) and send me an email after you do. (FOR THE FIRST SEMESTER THESE CLASSES WILL BE ONLINE).
