Dear Independence Charter Academy Students and Families,
Early this month we will enjoy our Spring Break from April 4-8. It is a much-needed time for all the students who have been working so hard this semester. When we return from Spring Break there will be 31 school days left of school. Our Graduation will take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Adelanto Stadium in Adelanto, California. Please feel free to contact our office if you would like tickets to this great event. We will also be administering our California Testing when we return from Spring Break. We wish all the students the best and to try their hardest during these tests.

Your ICA Staff is working hard to put together a yearbook for the 2021-2022 school year. Please send in a headshot (shoulders and up) along with your first and last name and grade level to be included in the yearbook. We are fast approaching the end of this school year; only 41 school days remaining!
On Tuesday we will begin the State of California’s required State Testing.
The testing will begin on Tuesday, Apr 19, 2022, and conclude on Friday, April 25, 2022. Testing will begin daily at 8:30 am and the last test will be offered at 1:30 pm each day.
All students in grades 3-8 are required to make a valiant attempt at the testing. All testing can only be accomplished at the ICA-approved sites. Obviously, the ICA office in Helendale will be the main site but we will also have satellite testing sites for our students in the Palm Springs and Bakersfield areas.
More specific instructions are likely to follow so please check your emails.
